If they cheated

If you confronted your SO about his(or her) cheating and they denied it.. What were some of the things they said. Like my SO still denies it and is really convincing. He says things like "think I'm cheating all you want, I'm not.." Or "I wish I was cheating since I'm being accused of it anyways.

Basically I'm asking what things have they said to play off that they aren't really cheating, or to get you to question if you truly think they'd do that. But come to find out they really were cheating.
