When I first met my boyfriend, I was just out of a terrible, abusive relationship, so I pretty much hated all men. I thought of him as just a hook up. He had to ask me to be his girlfriend three times before I finally agreed. I'm glad I finally agreed, because he's amazing.

My boyfriend was not really what I thought my "type" would be. He is very outdoorsy, and like a country man; and I'm used to trouble making city boys lol. I'm a total city girl. But overtime, I learned we really balance each other out. We learn a lot from each other. And I'm learning about things I would have NEVER known about and vice versa. And we are both so supportive of one another that it just amazes me, someone could be like that as I've never experienced it before.

My husband was pretty much the opposite of " my type". Prior to him I normally dated men older than me and the stereotypical tall, dark, and handsome types. Muscular alpha males with large egos. My husband is an intellectual. He is brilliant and talkative and accomplished academically. He's also very socially awkward and introverted. And a ginger. But the more we talked, the more I felt myself drawn to him. His has the kindest heart and is the most thoughtful man I've ever met. I feel in love with him hard and fast and haven't looked back since.
