Does listening to music do anything good to an unborn baby?

I listened to Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd while I was pregnant a lot. One day, my son was crying uncontrollably,  I could not get him.to stop. So I put that song on, he immediately stopped crying, it was so soothing for him. He's now 2 and I still put it on if he's upset. Works every time.

I asked my doctor this last week im 25+5 as if today I already have a boy hes 11. Every morning on my way to drop him off he wants to get into his go mode (blast music and sing to jump start the day) my baby knows when it's time to jam because he bounces around something crazy!!! I asked my doctor about music and she said it would be a good soothing technique for when my baby boy arrives but to loud if music can make the baby deaf Which I had no idea...
