Dark chocolate is good for you, but it has caffeine too! It also has lots of magnesium and potassium and iron  which is good! Try adding raw cacao powder to a fruit smoothie for delishious chocolaty-ness and added nutrition!! Magnesium can help reduce menstrual pain! ​

Lets be clear: ONLY DARK CHOCOLATE! Dark chocolate has helpful antioxidants and is known to help with boosting serotonin, which help improve our mood :) so it makes us happy and feel good. That's all. It doesn't help with cramps or anything like that.

​Any other chocolate has caffeine. Caffeine intake while on our menstruated cycle can increase bloating and create an irritable stomachs

If eat chocolate on a period, any sort at all I get horrible cramps ... I don't know why but I try and avoid it xx
