When did all you mamas start the nursery?

I didn't start her nursery until 7 months after she was here! Lol. We had a major renovation under way, so all of us slept in one bedroom until then (hubby, me, baby and three dogs...eek!)

I just painted her room yesterday and I probably won't be done until August... I'm 21w3d now..don't mind the blue tape lol

I ordered the furniture at 10 weeks, set everything up at 14 weeks, and now I'm waiting for my shower at the end of June to finish buying everything and I'm going crazy! I love being able to sit in there and thinking about our daughter. But I'm going stir crazy because I want to finish everything NOW. lol we'll be finishing the closet and putting up the blinds and shelves within the next week. But after that I won't have anything to do until after our shower. So it won't be "done" until I'm probably 35 weeks /:

Mine was painted by 28 weeks (I had attempted to start weeks before, but my uncle finished it). After that it came together really quick. After my baby shower at 32 weeks is when it was completely done.

I'm not due until December but we are going to start painting the room in June probably so it'll be warm enough to open up the windows but not super hot. We also got hand me down dressers and stuff so we will be painting them and assembling other furniture early. The decor will probably wait until 3rd trimester or late 2nd.

When my baby is ready to transition out of his/her crib.  Since we want the crib in our room for convenience,  we are going to put the savings from the nursery in his/her college fund instead.

I started painting at about 24 weeks. I'm now almost 27 weeks and still haven't finished the stencils yet. I'm hoping to finish them this coming weekend and finally get the carpet cleaners in next week. I want to be completely done with it by the time I am 31 weeks. But, I still have to sand and paint a dresser I picked up, so I'm foreseeing it taking a little longer than I'd like.
