Will you wash babies new clothes before the first wear? If yes, for how many months?

I will wash what I know she will wear in beginning... Sleep sacks, onesies, hospital outfit... Then I will was more once we know size incase I need to return/exchange

I always wash new clothes before I wear them so I'm just extending the habit to baby as well. I probably always will wash before the first wear unless there is an unforeseen blowout that requires me to buy an emergency change of clothes.

I washed all of baby's stuff in a free and clear detergent. Most of what I got was used from a friend or from once upon a child and you can't return it. Anything else that I get in small sizes (nb-6mths) will be exchanged for a larger size and then washed.
