Why doesn't my boyfriend of one year ever want to hangout with me? He either blows me off or comes up with an excuse. He's 26 years old and he always says he has "chores". Never hangs out with me during the day.

I have two conclusions.
One, maybe he does have stuff to do, if you two live serperately then maybe he really does have to do household chores, lawn work, repairs, maintainence, maybe moving things around - spring cleaning stuff. And spending time with a girl/boyfriend can sometimes sound unattractive if you have a lot of stress and things to do because relationship time is often unproductive (just all cuddling and talking and intimacy).
Two, he's an idiot and you deserve better, but try to distract yourself with positive feeling acitivities to take the missing him/heartache edge off.
