I went to my 16w appt (16/4) and when my midwife listened to the heart beat via Doppler it sounded like the babies heart was skipping beats. She also said this is something that is common and usually resolves itself with time. Has anyone had experience with this? She is sending me to a specialist for a level two ultrasound/ echocardiogram that can't be done until 20w. She told me not to worry but that is impossible at this point! I am stressed to the max at the moment.
