How do I stop my hair from getting poofy like this?? Thanks

My hair looks like that when I brush it. So I only brush it right before I get in the shower and then when I get out I put some curl cream in it and let it air dry. Then I will put a tiny amount of silk serum in it. Get some dry shampoo so you can go days without washing your hair. Also, I only blow dry my hair if I'm going to straighten it. Maybe I just suck at blow drying, but my hair always gets poofy and frizzy when I do, so I have to go over it with a flat iron or curling iron.

This has worked for me, just put it in your hair while its damp and leave it in after the shower , you can get it at like the hair Solons in Walmart, it's like $12-15 and it works wonders and also makes your hair so soft and silky, even works with straighter and stuff and makes it soft and it smells good too!!

If it's an overnight thing, 2 Dutch braids, not centerparted, along your natural part so it just tames frizz...Hope this helps

I have same issue. I wash every couple days wth shampoo but condition every night. After shower I put my hair in a side braid. Then I put a smoothing serum of some kind lightly along the braid and ends.  I then leave the braid until morning. In the morning I take the braid out and my hair is so soft and smooth. If it is really humid out I will put a little mousse or gel, no hairspray!!. You can also put that in before braiding at night. I always put a dime size amount of conditioner through my hair before brushing hair after shower. Make sure to brush hair while wet before braiding. Try it. I've been doing it for 10 years now. My hair grows like a weed too because of it

My hair does the same thing. I only comb it while it's wet & I NEVER use a brush. Also, washing only once a week or every two weeks is good.

I use a hair oil that I apply when wet, i used Moroccan oil, it is a little pricey but worth it. It also has everything to do with how you dry it. Try using a round brush and dry section at a time.

You could get a product that smooths it out.... i cant remember what its called... i think its SILK. You can buy it at walmart.
