Just had my cervical check...
And it was a bit more uncomfortable than anticipated. Not painful per say... But uh I'd rather not do that again haha
Anyways - doctor goes "don't be disappointed if nothing has happened yet. It's still early (36 weeks exactly today) and most first time mothers not much happens until they're in actual labor."
Then she gets this surprised look on her face and goes "oh!! You're 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I can feel her head resting right on your cervix."
I know that labor could still be way off...but it could also mean it's not...right?
My hubby is ready to march us to the hospital 😂 I told him they'd laugh if we showed up at 1 cm
