Yes, there should be limitations, but they should be minimal. Death/violence threats, speech to incite panic (fire I'm a crowded theater), and child pornography are all exceptions for good reason.

That said, I'm a card carrying member of the ACLU and will always fight for our first amendment rights, even though that sometimes means protecting speech that I personally disagree with.
