3 days late and negative pregnancy test .

My husband and I have been TTC since Jan. My periods have been regular down to the day and hour since I can remember . I'm now three days late with a BFN . I tested on Monday . My only symptom is sore breast . Has this happened to anyone ?could I be pregnant ?
