Contractions vs BH?

What's the difference? How can you tell? I'm 34w and don't think I've even had a BH yet, just some cramping 😕😓

Following....I think BH your stomach gets really tight and hard, which I've had happen quite often but no pain so idk I'm confused too lol

Braxton Hicks shouldn't hurt. Real ones do. I've not had BH ones at all only real ones

Contractions are the same as braxton hicks in tightening etc except they hurt. And I mean can't breathe through the pain HURT and you can feel the pressure of baby on your cervix moving down. Anything else is prelabor or practice.

Drink a glass of water and lay on your left side. If they go away, they are likely BH. If they don't go away and have a discernable pattern, they are likely labor contractions.

My midwife tells me to time my contractions but I don't even know if I'm having any BH or otherwise.
