What did back labor feel like for you? Where was the pain?

My pain was in my lower back. At first it just felt like I had be bent over too long, then when it got worse at around 5 centimeters it felt like every bone in my back breaking. I didn't feel it after my epidural.

Literally just felt like an achy back. Like period pains but in my back. It's not the nicest feeling but it's manageable. I've had two back labours both babies back to back and I'm on my 3rd baby and haven't been put off yet lol c

For me it felt like intense muscle pain that kept tightening and then being released x

Felt like a bad aching back. Sometimes when u get period pains and its round ur back. That's how it felt like for me. I didn't realise I was so far along in labour as I actually just thought I had back ache with the occassional contractions in the front xx

This terrifies me because I already have flare ups in my lower back that feel like that. I have nerve damage and a chronic illness. I'm terrified of it being any worse. Yay for epidurals...
