Hey ladies! So I am needing a little input on who all you think is appropriate to have in the delivery room with you? With both of my sisters (one older and the other my twin) I was in the room for their deliveries. I have always said that when I have a baby I would want them both there too. Well I assumed this was well known to my husband but he has recently told me he thinks it's weird to have my sisters in there and he really doesn't want them there. I told him that I understood that it would be overwhelming to have them both there and that I would instead just like to have my twin there. He still insists that its weird and not normal and should just be me and him in the room. I understand where he is coming from and that this is a very intimate experience but honestly I really feel like I will need the extra support of my twin sister. My thoughts are that with both of my sisters I had to help with holding up one of their legs while they pushed and if that is going to be the case with me I would rather it be my sister than a random nurse. I live across the country from my family and my sister is planning her trip to be around when my baby is due... I really want to get this sorted out but don't want to completely shut down my husbands feelings or ignore my wishes too. Sorry this is so long but I guess I'm just wondering if I am being crazy and it really is strange to have your husband AND sister in the room?
