Tips and Tricks?

I'm 22 years old. 286 lbs and 5'2". I'm trying to lose weight. I'd be comfortable if I was somewhere between 210-225. I'm trying to lose a good chunk of it by my birthday. December 17. I know that's not a whole bunch of time for that amount of weight loss. But, I need help. Do any of you ladies have any tips, tricks, suggestions? I'm open to pretty much anything.
