How many of you changed your last name to your husband's when you got married?

To this day I still find this a really odd practice and don't understand the symbolism behind it no matter how many times women try to convince me . I used to think most places in the world did this, but turns out a minority only still does, including the US where I live. Marriage is a partnership, not an ownership, so why should a woman seek a name change when married , and then if divorced, and go through the process, when a man doesn't have to? It just doesn't make any sense. There are many other things that a woman can do to honor her husband besides putting herself under his name. Just a thought, and no disrespect to any women who just want to do it because they want to, or have their reasons behind it. I'm just talking about the idea in general.
