What type of foundation do you use?

It's getting Summer here and my plain old boring Cover Girl Classic Ivory just isn't cutting it. At work I always go in so pretty, but after a few hours and swearing I always look red and oily. What is a good foundation and or powder that I can use? What is it that the make up artists use? I need some of that!!!

I use a Sephora brand called makeup forever ultra HD. Expensive, but the best investment I ever made! I used to use cheap drugstore brands and they wore off so quickly, this one lasts forever!

One thing I recommend is starting out with clean skin, using a primer, then foundation and set it with powder. 
I'm no makeup expert by ANY means! But this has definitely worked well for me. :)

Loreal pro matte is the best thing I've ever tried. I have oily skin and this keeps me looking clean all day.

After years of struggling with the same problem, I finally fiscovered lancome 24 hour foundation. It costs about $45 for the bottle, but lasts me a really long time. I use it with the oil blocking toner underneath. It does great in the 90+ degree weather where I live, and it even looks good after you sweat or get rained on!

Lancome Teint Idole. It stays on all day, it's oil free so you won't get oily from it. It's a bit pricey, but SO worth it. It comes in a ton of colors too so you'll be able to find your shade easily.

I use loreal primer, cover girl loose powder and physicians formula powder bronzer...  The primer will fix your pores and stop the oily look.

For a drugstore foundation that stays literally ALL DAY and all night with budging. Covergirl outlast 3 in 1 is amazing....for a higher end foundation I highly suggest Estée Lauder double wear :)
