Is this an issue?

My boyfriend of 4 months is really sweet, compliments me all the time and tells me he loves me but he does something that bothers me.

On a regular basis, he mentions how "hot" he thinks girls are or a certain actress and he is always saying how The Chive has chicks with nice butts and boobs.  He says he loves my body but his comments about other girls make me uncomfortable and hurt me.

Generally, I am not very confident and have low self esteem which makes this difficult for me.  I think it is just part of his personality and I am beginning to think I have to break up with him over this.  I don't want to change him but I also came continue to be hurt by this.  I find it disrespectful to me.

Have any of you ever experienced this?  If so, any advice on what I should do?

Tell him how you feel! Communication is so important, especially with things that make you uncomfortable

Tell him how uncomfortable he's making you feel. Guys are oblivious sometimes, he probably doesn't know stuff like that bothers you.

I was in the EXACT same situation and I just told him about how bad it made me feel and he stopped.

I don't think you're overreacting but I would tell him how you feel.  He may have no idea how his comments are hurting you and be willing to stop once you tell him.  I hope it works out for you!

And this is the reason guys girlfriends get self conscious. Talk to him and tell him it makes you feel like crap. Tbh I think that he fucked up 😁👌🏻
