Oh my word. I was induced Tuesday morning at 8 am. I got there and I was only 1 cm dilated 😞 I got 2 doces of Mesoprostile and then that night at mid night they started me on a pitocin drip. Once I was dilated to a 7, I decided to try and rest up but 45 mins later the doc checked my cervix again and I was already to a 10!😁I was in labor for 39 hours!!! I only had to push for 45 mins though!(which I barely remember) I feel like I kept blacking out but once I had that one last push and I heard everyone in the room oohing and ahhing, I looked at my husband and literally started bawling and I did not stop for at least an hour all while I nursed her for the first time, all through everything it was the absolute best and most wonderful experience of my life and I am so beyond blessed to have the support system that I did in the delivery room. To everyone that has to get induced IT IS AWFUL BUT MY GOD IT IS SO WORTH IT❤️
