I just got my blood results back, can anyone explain the blood type?

Thanks again for all your responses, this is my next problem. I had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarrige a few months ago (before I got my BFP in September) I didn't get a shot after it because the hospital didn't realise that I had a chemical pregnancy. I am very worried.

My understanding:  (I'm O-)
If your baby is positive & u are negative, when ur body "sees" baby - either by bleeding or by birth, ur body will make antibodies against babys positive blood.

If that happens & ur next baby is positive, ur body will attack it.  The shot will prevent u from creating those antibodies, and protect future pregnancies.

If ur SO has negative blood & you have negative blood, there is no way u can have a positive baby.  In that case, don't get the shot.

I'm rhesus negative, I just got a shot about 26-28 weeks (roughly it's been a few years since I was pregnant
And had the shot), I then had the shot after both my boys were born. No complications at all. I'm 5 weeks with baby no4 3 and will go through the same procedure.

My mum and brother are this blood type. It's just more rare. As far as I know if your baby has a different blood group you will need an injection after labour..my mum had to have it with me. :)

I take it that it means your RH negative meaning when you are preg around 5-6 months I think you have to get a shot because your blood is poison to the baby and vise versa.then after you give birth they will give you another shot, no big deal. The one'll thing is if you don't get the shot and become preg you have to get an amnio every month and you can never have the shot after that.
