Response- praying doc is wrong
I'm sorry you are going through this, this just happened to me about two months ago. I thought I was 14 weeks I started bleeding but the doctor said if I wasn't cramping it was okay. After a few days of bleeding I wanted a ultrasound anyways. When I got my ultrasound the tech at hospital wouldn't tell me anything. Waited for my doctor to call and tell me it was measuring only 8 weeks with no heartbeat. That meant the baby died at 8 weeks becuAse I was sure of my dates. So it took me 6 weeks to start bleeding. Didn't want d&c, let it go natural. I think everything is finally out of me but still going for hcg test every two weeks. Last time I went my hcg was still at 36. It is very painful. I do think everything happens for a reason though. Usually most of these cases are bad chromosomes, so the baby would have been sick or unable to live as my doctor told me. Just rest, try to heal and then in a couple months try again! D&c will be faster them waiting natural, I just didn't want to take a chance on my cervix being damaged becuause it took me so long to become pregnant to begin with. Good luck! Hang on there. I stayed on bed and cried for 3 days but it does get better.
