Antidepressants while pregnant?

Question

Is there anyone that has severe depression and pregnant? Are you on any antidepressants that your doctor says is safe while you're pregnant? 
I have severe depression and anxiety and I stopped all my medications as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I'm kinda nervous to not be on anything during my pregnancy but also very nervous to ask to be on something while I'm pregnant. Help....

I would start them again if i were you. You are at high risk of a relapse (depression) and you can get even worse than you were. Your  baby is gonna need his mommy when hes born. If you have a severe post partum depression you wont be able to properly take care and bond with your baby. Even during pregnancy it has been prooven that a mother under severe depression it can affect the baby. Think about your baby he needs his mommy to be healthy.

I was put on Zoloft when I was pregnant with my daughter. But back then it was still a class c drug and didn't know much about how it would effect the baby. She turned out perfectly healthy and no problems. I would recommend talking to your doctor. They will know better than any of us will

Be careful! I have ptsd anxiety and depression and was afraid it would hurt the baby so I stopped and got really depressed. Talk to your doctor about what meds you should be on

I have depression and I don't like taking meds for it and I can usually control it or at least cope but they always offer if it were to act up and say it's safe to take them
