8 week old and baby food?!

I have been seeing so many people giving their babies who are around 8 weeks - 10 weeks baby food. Is this a normal thing?? I thought you weren't supposed to give baby food until around 5 or 6 months.

Wow. Their digestive system can't handle solid foods that young. Poor babies are going to be awfully uncomfortable

Thats the problem with this app...so many people rushing to get their baby to the next stage when their bodies arent ready and then other people see it and think its normal and start to wonder if they should be doing it too...

I was dissolving polar sausage in my mout at 7 weeks old and I was fine. I was eating solids in a regular basis by 9 weeks. For others it may not be, but for me it was fine. The doctors even said it wasn't a problem.

No not good at all! Maybe cereal to formula at 3-4 months.

Way to early we started at 4 and half months but doctor said at 4 months (he was hungry all the time )
