Brown discharge and no period. What is happening?

So on cycle day 24 I had a very small amount of red blood, and now for 4 days I have had minor amounts of watery brown discharge with slight cramps. Now on cycle day 29 and no BFP. What is happening to me? I couldn't be starting some pre-menopause thing could I? I am scared.

I have this a lot when I'm due on my period. Sometimes I get this that only lasts a day and other times I get a normal bloody period that lasts 2 days. Since coming off the pill a year ago my periods are all over the place. I wouldn't worry 😊

I made the mistake of trying to look up what the causes could be. I will be calling both my doctors Monday morning and asking to get in asap to have some testing done. Just a few possibilities were PCOS, perimenopause, PID or cancer. So yeah, that's fun and not disturbing at all. Not upsetting to a woman who has been TTC for over two years. I thought the brown spotting might be a good sign that I might finally be pregnant, and now I just want a regular period. How sad is that?

This is happening to me now. So frustrating! I only can tell I have discharge when I wear a tampon because it's so light. Hoping it's just a wierd period but plan to ask my doctor. Had two BFN pregnancy tests myself. Please keep me posted on what you find.
