Menstrual cups - life changer or trauma?

Question

Hey, I invested in a menstrual cup for ecological, economic and also practical reasons... 🌱🌎💵💁🏼

Pros: can't feel it, no leaking (especially at night), no smells, pretty cute package and bag, 12 hours without change (no need to get up in the night), saving the planet... (I'm not squeamish so I don't mind the emptying and washing)

Cons:  THE HIDEOUS SUCTION TO MY VAGINA = THE REMOVAL IS TOTALLY TRAUMATIC! 😳😱😭👎🏻💀 and this outways all of the pros.

So....
Do any of you have any experience?
Love it or hate it? ❤️/💀
Have you had trouble with removal? 
Should I stick with it or give up?
Would you consider it?

Any advice is welcome! 😊

Update = I find breaking the suction really difficult, it takes me at least five minutes and then I start to panic. Sometimes it unsucks and then just  latches back on

I've had this happen once. But since then I've learned to let the cup get atleast half way full before taking it out. If I pinch the tip and it's still suctioned, it's not very full. Try to let it fill up. It'll be easier to remove.

Ive never had any issues with removing mine! are you making sure to break the suction prior to pulling it out?? I always just put my finger up the side as close to the rim as i can then i push the side in and it releases the suction then i pull it out. I cant imagine it being traumatic unless your not breaking the suction first -which i would assume is indeed not at all lovely!

I love it. You have to break the suction before pulling, if not, it WILL HURT LIKE HELL. Also try folding it into a c as the rim is coming out. Dont give it up just yet

I have been curious about menstral cups for a long time. The main reason I won't invest in one is I get very heavy periods and I don't see how I could empty and clean it in a public bathroom. Do you have any onsite, tips?

Are yo squeezing the base of the cup? That's how I break my seal, then fold it in a c shape to take it out. I love my cup, it is the holy grail.
