Oral biopsy/ lip biopsy- anyone had one?

Hello, has anyone here ever had a lip biopsy done? If so, what was your experience after it was done, did you have pain, swelling, bleeding etc..

I just had it done this Thursday morning and am having a very hard time, since day one my bottom lip was very swollen and the pain the first day had me in tears. The pain has gone down a bit today on day 2. When it was described to me by the doctor of what to expect he said it would feel like the pain if I bit my cheek and that is definitely not the case.
