Will you have a midwife or an OBGYN?

Question

I was curious to see how many women would prefer a midwife. I've been thinking of having a midwife instead of an OBGYN.

I've done both OBGYN and midwife. My experience with the midwife was waaaaaaaaaaaay better.So much more informative and caring. I always just felt like another number with my OBGYN and always had to wait 40 minutes to see her for 5. Midwife is the opposite, atleast in my experience. Pregnant with third now and I'm going with midwife again. I highly recommend!

I love my obgyn. She has such a great reputation,  she is easy going, very dedicated to her patients, she is all for birth plans, and she had trouble concieving her kids so she sympathizes with those struggling... I'm comfortable with her and can't wait for round 3! 
My gf is actually seeing her right now for her first and she wants to have the baby placed on her tummy right after delivery( breast crawl? Something like that) and wait for the baby to make it to her breasts to nurse... This can take up to an hour but is supposed to be great for bonding. This dr has no problems with this at all. And for me i had the option of a vbac and it was 100% up to me on what I wanted... I opted for the elected c section but it was great to know I had her support completely if I wanted to try for the vbac. Some places don't give the option.
