Help!! Tampon problems!!

Okay so I've used tampons before but today I put it in and it felt a bit weird (it is in the right spot and all that) so I tried to take it out but it won't come out. It's not lodged wayyyyy up in there like I can pull the sting and if I try I can touch the bottom of the tampon near the string hut whenever I try to take it out, it hurts. Any advice??
