Do tampons hurt you?

Okay ladies, so I have had to stop wearing tampons because they hurt me. Like putting them in and having them in doesn't hurt I can't feel them, it's when they're fully absorbed and are bigger from it. 
I use the regular size tampons and when I take them out when it's time to change them my vagina hurts, they hurt when they get full and then after its out I'll get sharp pains in my vagina and cramps. So I've resorted to pads. Is it just me?

Tampons often cause my cramps to be worst. I typically only wear them at the end of my cycle when it's lighter and all the cramps are gone.

No but sometimes when I go to put a tampon in, the little spike part of the applicator (you know, from the star shaped opening at the very tip) will stab my vagina or get caught almost, and that's not fun lol

If it's only at a certain point you may just have to change them more often. Could also be an allergy. Try a different brand, maybe even a slimmer fit, see if that helps.

They don't hurt only when you're tension down there but just relax I tried tampons & it's very easy to get in there but it's really uncomfortable when you don't put it in right (that's why I stop using them bc I can never get it in right bc it's always very uncomfortable for me)

If it feels too big to pull out, you need to change them more often, if it feels like it's tugging and it's dry, you are changing them too often and they hurt because they are dry

My friend said she's really sensitive to the cotton of tampons and pads. So she just wears pads with also baby rash cream...
