Cervix is getting shorter quick :(

Emily
Hello all! I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my rainbow boy (he is very healthy and measuring big for gest age!) and I have found out recently that my cervix is shortening quicker than I thought... I have a history of preterm babes and I am being measured every two weeks, two visits ago and was told the wrong numbers. Long story short, I went to my MFM last week and I asked the lengths of every week until now, and he said that I started at 3.7 then went to 3.4 then 2.7 then 2.5 and back to 2.7 after starting progesterone when it got to 2.5. I am not able to get a cerclage as I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and was told that the stitches would likely just tear through my cervix as the baby got bigger :( my worry is that I've been having a bunch of small somewhat painful contractions, but no bleeding or discharge! (Woo hoo!) (I did go to the hospital for these and they sent me home and told me to drink more water, which i am now, that was yesterday.) But I am scared of losing this little guy after I lost his brother at 21 weeks back in 2013. I would love to hear any feedback you guys might have on maybe what they might do if it gets any shorter? I haven't been put on bedrest yet but I am considering doing it myself. Thank you for your help and sorry for the loooong post!
