Is the Doona Amazing?

I love the idea of this car seat/stroller and have been thinking about getting this as my splurge item. Has anyone used one? What did you think?

We have it and are so excited to use it!  Little man won't be here for another month or so, but we (my husband, especially:) ) take it out and "practice" with it, the ease of use just can't be beat!  Only thing is that it isn't an every day stroller, so you'll probably also want something more durable to use for long walks, parks, all terrain, etc.  We wanted the Doona for traveling and running errands around town.  So easy to maneuver in small aisles, and getting in and out of the car.  No need for any extra pieces taking up your trunk space!  Also your little one will grow out of it by 10-12 months.  We got a Bumbleride Indie and a convertible carseat/booster for later, to have along with the Doona.

I met a lady who was out shopping with her baby in this same thing. She maneuvered around the store - a small boutique - so easily. The easiest stroller actually that I've ever seen come in ! I was so amazed !!! She even showed me how to get the carrier out and break down the stroller in literally a matter of seconds, it's so lightweight and easy ! I wanted it so bad after that but I simply cannot afford it so I'll be getting the three wheel britax but if you can afford this I say worth it !!!!

That's a pretty common design in many strollers. I have the uppababy Cruz and it does the same thing. I think the chicco strollers do that too. Maybe the bugaboo as well.

Keep in mind. That is considered a pumpkins seat/infant seat style car seat and they have a weight/height limit. The convienence of going to car to stroller will go away once your child reaches the weight/height limit and you will need to switch to a convertible car seat.
