Why am I bleeding before my period?

My name is Jasmine and I'm 19 I was suppose to start my period on May 13th but didn't get it. I also noticed I was bleeding but it wasn't my period. Can someone help me understand what that means?

Answer

I once got my period 10 days early. Out of nowhere. Didn't think anything of it, the next month I was two days "late" past that 10 days early day so I took a test and was pregnant.

A few months ago my period was MIA for a month I was freaking out! Took 100 pregnancy tests and the day of my dr appt the next month I got my period and even after blood work I found out my body just decided to skip a month 😂
Not trying to freak ya out. It could be just a weird month, but make sure if it's too off to take a few tests.
