TDAP shot from CVS?

My doctor told me to go to CVS (or Walgreens, or somewhere similar) to get my TDAP shot. Has anyone else gotten there's from a place like this? I'm just curious to see how much it costs? Or is it generally cover by insurance? I just figured I'd get it straight from my doctor.

I got mine at the minute clinic. They run it through your insurance and I believe mine covers vaccines so I don't expect to get a bill. However CVS Caremark is the preferred pharmacy for my insurance so I don't know if that makes any difference.

Got mine through my OB, as did my husband. Some places don't do it so they send you to where it is done.

Got shot from doctor. Idk why they send u over there at pharmacy to get a shot.

I would call and ask.  They run it through your insurance just like the doctor would.

I got mine straight from my OBGYN... It's odd they'd send you somewhere else.
It's more expensive to get it done at a place like CVS, I'd call your primary doctor and set up an appointment for them to do it.
