Losing weight?

I am 22 and 5"8. I weigh about 215 lbs. I was just wondering if my weight would make it harder to get pregnant. I haven't been TTC for long (only about 5 months).

Yes. Studies have shown that it might. Do you know if you have Pcos? Do you ovulate regularly?

​Being overweight is itself not necessarily detrimental. But it is - if it is because of hormonal issues. 
​
​The good news - even a small amount if weight loss can get you ovulating and pregnant.
