I asked my dr about the ones I was taking because they were chewable a so she told me to bring them in and she approved them.

My prescription ones had more iron in them, which I needed. I was horribly dehydrated for much of my pregnancy, and hospitalized several times for fluids. I couldn't keep anything down for seemingly the first 6-7 months. Bleh

Plant based vitamins are better in general. Your body absorbs the nutrients much easier and will actually absorb all of the vitamins and minerals they contain where as synthetic vitamins are much harsher and must be taken with protein rich foods in order to have any absorption. Try new chapter, mega food, or garden of life!
