I'm 19 years old and I have my period right now and it's my first time using tampons. I've been getting my period since I was ten years old and when I was around 12 or 13 I tried a tampon and absolutely hated it. I don't know if I was just too young or what, but I hated the tampon and swore I'd never use one again. So all these years I've used pads, and all my friends told me to use tampons because they're so amazing. They told me I'd never go back to pads again after using a tampon. Well, three days ago I decided to give tampons a try again and let me just say they're amazing. My friends were right-- I'm never going back to pads again
