Hi! I am 40 years old. I just had my daughter 6 months ago and last week on Monday we found out I was pregnant. Well Tuesday night I started bleeding bright red with no cramps or clots. We went Wednesday morning to ER they checked my HCG quant level which was 71.68 they did an ultra sound but no sac ( too early at the time I was 5 weeks) I was released with a threatened miscarriage. I went home and called my doctor. Went in on Thursday and dos another HCG quant level test and I had to wait till yesterday for the results. Which was Monday my levels are 48. I go back tomorrow Wednesday for more tests. I will be 6 weeks by tomorrow. Can this be normal and all is ok? I know some women have had bleeding and went on but I have not heard about their HCG Levels. I am still very tired, thirsty, hungry,  and wanting to sleep on my stomach. Has anyone had anything similar and they had a perfectly healthy baby? I am just trying to hold on to hope! Thank you!
