How to tell if your baby is allergic to certain diapers??

Hey moms!! My daughter is 2wks4days && we've been using "Pampers" brand diapers since we left the hospital. Last week we started noticing that she had little red bumps between her legs on the little "lips" part down there. At her two week check up we mentioned it to her doctor and she gave us a cream to put on there. Now we are noticing a few more is starting to pop up and we were wondering if this could be a allergic reaction to the brand diapers we are using. What would a allergic reaction look like if you are allergic to diapers on a child?

If it happened after changing brands, I would try a new brand just to double check. I used Pampers at the hospital and got a sample of Huggies only for my LO to be allergic to Huggies (broke out in a rash/red bumps). Switched her back to Pampers, and tried Up&Up Brand and she's been fine since.

It sounds kind of like yeast to me. Usually with an allergic reaction it will happen pretty soon, so if you were using the pampers brand with no problems then suddenly she got a rash, it's not likely to be the diapers causing it.

Try getting the sensitive diapers which do t have fragrances added to them usually.

Sounds like diaper rash. Use the cream the doctor gave you and change her diapers more frequently. Make sure she is completely dry before putting a new diaper on. If it doesn't get better with the cream within a week, go back to the doctor.
