Found pregnancy tests in my mums room

Okay, before you say anything, my wardrobe is in my mums room. But anyway, she's been going out with a new boyfriend for 2 months, so I asked if she'd have anymore kids (I'm her youngest and I'm 16 now) and she insisted she didn't want any. Her reason was because she has a bad him and needs a hip replacement even though she's only 37. But I went to get something out of my wardrobe and on her bed were packets of ovulation testers, and some pregnancy tests, with some been taken out? So why would she not tell me she wanted another kid, I told her I'd like it, and yet she completely denied it?
