Babies sense pregnancy?

I've always heard that babies can sense when a woman is pregnant and I've always thought it was true, never had a reason not to. But I always thought it made the babies happy to be around the pregnant lady, but I guess not for me. I came back to work tonight at a child daycare and I've had 2 9 month olds that usually never cry and always love me. But both of them as soon as I grabbed them started sobbing.. Makes me fear that they can sense that somethings wrong.. But I know that's just me over thinking things.. Still wonder why all the sudden they don't like me lol

My mom said if you're pregnant and boys don't wanna be around u it's because you're having a boy. Or if girls don't wanna be around you it's cause you're having a girl. The opposite sex will cling to u. Of course this is just old wives tales but it was true for me.

You put off a smell when you're pregnant, not necessarily a bad one but they might be able to smell the difference and not like it..

I dunno about babies. Bug I believe animals do. Mind were all over me before I found out.

Baby's know when big change is happening so they can since it and can make their attitudes change and they start feeling they won't get much attention just had this conversation with my doc today because I'm pregnant and have to toddlers who act this way now

The few weeks before and the few weeks after I found out I was pregnant, the child that I nanny for (10 months old at the time) did not enjoy being around me. She was usually a very easy going kid but those couple of weeks were hell with her- she just cried the whole time like I had upset her or something and didn't like to play with me. I'm not sure if it was bc of my pregnancy but her mom didn't notice any behavioral changes- it was only with me. It eventually got better and she returned to her normal self. I'm sure what're the kid are feeling will pass. 😊

My 7 year old asked me out of the blue if I was pregnant. No one has said anything to him, we just found out!!!!
