So, I started this new birth control medicine about a month ago. The doctor said that with this medication I would have only four periods a year. Now my periods typically lay 5-7 days. This is my first period while on the pill and my period is still going strong now for 15 days. It's very obnoxious and more painful than most of my previous periods. Not too sure what to do if this is at all normal. Help? Is this common?
