Yesterday was my 38 week appointment (I'm actually 38+5) Doctor did a membrane sweep hoping to help move me along due to some low blood sugar drops this week. After the appointment my husband, son and I walked around IKEA for a bit hoping to start some contractions. By 6pm I started regular contractions but nothing painful. Hubby and I had sex before going to bed and almost immediately started getting regular painful contractions. I labored at home until about 2am at which point we headed to the hospital with contractions about 4 minutes apart. I was admitted and found I was about 3cm dialated! By 9am all contractions stopped and nothing we did could get them started again. Over 12 hours of active and painful labor and I am back home with no baby!
