Is it normal NOT to laugh?

Is it normal not to laugh? When I watch funny movies or TV shows, I don't laugh. When my friends or family make jokes I don't laugh at all. I just fake laugh all the time with them to just seem normal.

I went through a really stressful hard part in my life where I didn't laugh for a year, nothing was funny nor lighthearted to me. I was a total high strung stress case, worried about failing at life. I'm not sure if not laughing is normal for you, but it could be related to emotional stress or depression.

I find it very hard to laugh at staged humour, however if something funny happens naturally I will laugh :)

I can't laugh at funny videos or movies. I just can't. And I don't really laugh when people tell jokes either. Now if something funny happens like a friend running into a poll, I will roll on the floor gasping for air lol. It's weird

I'd say normal. I have a hard time laughing when I'm tired (which is all the time lately) or upset about something else.

I laugh a lot and at the most stupidest things. But I cannot laugh at movies at are just plain stupid
