Inverted Hernia?

So I found out my stomach pains from 1st pregnancy that carried into 2nd pregnancy are from an inverted hernia. I was told I might have surgery after my son is born to remove it. Has anyone else had this? Expectations? Never had surgery before so I'm scared...

I was just Dx w an umbilical hernia. Thought all my pains were Braxton hicks but apparently not! My ob sent me to the ER where the surgeon checked me and they said they are confident I can wait until the baby is born to do the surgery. They said they avoid surgery at all costs w a pregnant woman and have seen many pregnant women through the hernia until after birth. I think it just depends how bad The hernia is. I'm 32 weeks so I don't have much longer to go. How far along are you? Best of luck!

I have a herina on top of my belly button. I've had it for a while. Found out after I had my son and had it while pregnant with my daughter it hurt when I over ate. I'm on my 3rd now and still have it but will have surgery after I have my baby. You have to wait 90 days after you have the baby to get the surgery.
