I had a dating ultrasound today with my new doctors office - the first appointment is always with a nurse practitioner....they called and asked that instead of coming in after 4 weeks, that I come have another ultrasound in 2 weeks for ANOTHER ultrasound with a doctor? The NP was very thorough and took her time with the scan, so I'm curious why they'd want me in so soon and make it sound important that I see a doctor this time? I hate to have an uneccesary ultrasound - and am worried there is something going on.....
