And asked for an appointment for blood work as I am 1-2 weeks pregnant and they said I don't need an appointment a midwife will contact you when you are 10 weeks pregnant and took my number.. I thought you have to have blood work just to confirm pregnancy ?

My ob would not see me until I was around 8 weeks pregnant. Chances are your around 4 weeks pregnant not 1-2 weeks.

Depends where you are from in the UK they don't a midwife just sees you between 8-10 weeks they take blood at that appointment but to check your blood type any infections and that

This is odd to me. I went in and had my first pregnancy confirmed at 5 weeks, my second one at 8 weeks (because that's when I found out), and my third one again at 5 weeks. Having to wait 10 weeks would stress me out. And then a midwife will call you? Do you not get the choice to see an OB instead?

I didn't go in until 9 weeks. Pregnancy tests very rarely give false positives.
