Pessary removed!
Hi ladies! I was diagnosed with short cervix and put in restricted activity and progesterone at 24 weeks. It kept getting shorter, so I was fitted for a pessary at 25 weeks. The pessary helped it stabilize to about 1.8 for a good 4-5 weeks than it started to shorten to 1.4. I'be made it to 36 weeks and the pessary was removed yesterday!
Immediately, my belly feels much heavier and I wonder if he is starting to drop. How long after your pessary was removed did labor start?
