Still having issues going to the restroom?

Anyone still having issues having a BM? 4 weeks post partum and still not regular... taking 2 colace a day but only get the urge to go every 4 days or so... and then im terrified to go at that point. Please tell me im not the only one having issues... any tips would be wonderful.

Are you still on painkillers? That's what was causing my issues,  as soon as I stopped taking them I was back to sorta normal.

Go to Walmart and get magnesium oxide tablets. Start with two tabs or 800 mg a day till you go (it only took about 6 hours for me) and then you can drop to one tab to maintain. I started taking them during pregnancy to help with headaches and discovered they work wonders for constipation as well. Plus they can also help you relax and sleep at night if you're stressed out. And they're 100% safe during pregnancy and bf'ing.

Im also 4 wks pp and im terrified to go!!! Im also taking colace. But it really hasnt helped me!!! It hurts so much to go but ive noticed that its gotten awhole lot better and a little less painful!!! So just give it time!!!

Again, Epsom salt bath helps with that and I take stool softeners.

I'm one month postpartum and I'm still not regular. I'm not really scared to go anymore, it's not that bad, but still going only every few days. Still kinda hard stools. Was rock hard and painful 2 days a ago, took a stool softener, yesterday I had bad diarrhea. Can't win.
