Yes and no. I lost the weight really fast while breastfeeding, but the longer you breast feed the more your body gets used to burning the extra calories. Plus I was constantly hungry, over time eating more I gained it back. If you can manage not to eat more, and still find time to work out, while breastfeeding, you would probably lose weight in general. But make the right choice for your health and your babies, not based on a number on a scale.

I've known plenty of people who have breastfed and said they lost weight. One of them said it definitely helped her get back to her pre-baby body and she recommends it if you can.

No because I got extremely hungry from breastfeeding. I lost the pregnancy weight but I had to work for it.

In my pregnancy I became anorexic. I couldn't eat. So after she was born I gain weight because I was able to eat again
